How many Ukrainians believe that it’s time to start negotiations with the Russian Federation and agree to Putin’s conditions – opinion poll

Sociologists from the Razumkov Center found out how many Ukrainians believe that it is time for Kyiv and Moscow to start official peace negotiations. Analysts also told how many citizens believe that it is necessary to agree to the conditions of the Russian Federation.

Razumkov Center commissioned by ZN.UA. conducted a survey from June 20 to 28, finding out the attitude of citizens towards peace negotiations with the Russian Federation and concessions to the Kremlin, NBN reports.

Sociologists asked Ukrainians whether they think that the time has come to start peace negotiations with the state -terrorist. 43.9% of respondents answered that it was worth starting an official dialogue with Moscow, 35% of respondents opposed this idea, 21.1% found it difficult to decide on an answer.

6.1% of Ukrainians said that our country must “give” to the Russian Federation the Donetsk region, Luhansk region, Kherson region and Zaporozhye within the administrative borders of the regions. 82.8% are against such territorial concessions.

4.5% believe that these regions should be fixed in international treaties as territories of the aggressor country, 83.6% of respondents do not agree to this.

21.8% of respondents supported the neutral and nuclear-free status of Ukraine, which should be enshrined in the Constitution. 58.5% of Ukrainians said that Kyiv should not take this step.

9% of study participants are ready to agree with the lifting of sanctions against the Russian Federation, 76.9% said that Western measures against a terrorist state should continue to act.

Earlier, KIIS sociologists told how many Ukrainians believe that security agreements will not affect the country’s defense capability.
