The Ukrainian Prime Minister, during a joint press conference with the head of the Czech government, Peter Fiala, announced that our country received the first 50 000 ammunition from Prague.

According to him, some of these shells are already on the line front and the Ukrainian Defense Forces use them to destroy Russian invaders, NBN reports.

Shmygal noted that the Czech Republic’s initiative to provide ammunition to Ukrainian troops is in effect and has good prospects. In addition, as the head of government said, Kyiv hopes to implement joint projects with Prague for the production of shells in the future.

Previously, the media stated that the European Union cannot fulfill its obligations to supply shells to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as promised Brussels. Journalists found out why the organization was delaying the transfer of ammunition to Kyiv.
