On the air of the national telethon, Slobodyan explained that the increase in blackout hours is due to the temperature regime in Ukraine, which is now above the climate norm, reports NBN.

According to the head of the department, in the coming days the heat will subside in the country and the load on the energy system will decrease. Thanks to the normalization of its work, the volume of introduced power outage schedules will decrease.

Also, the head of the State Energy Supervision Service noted that in the near future, the results of emergency restoration work, which are carried out around the clock, should have a positive impact on the situation with light in Ukraine.

Recall that earlier Prime Minister Denis Shmygal stated that the situation in the energy system should stabilize by the end of July after the completion of repair work at the nuclear power plant.

Also, the head of the Center for Energy Research announced the terms and conditions for canceling the schedules power outages.
