Head of State Vladimir Zelensky once again called on the allies to allow the Defense Forces to strike deep into the Russian Federation with Western weapons. The president said that all airfields that the Russians use to launch attacks on Ukraine must be destroyed.

The Ukrainian leader, during the inaugural plenary session of the European Political Community summit, addressed Western leaders, in particular representatives of the USA, Germany, Poland, France and Great Britain, calling on them to allow the Armed Forces of Ukraine strike targets in the Russian Federation.
Zelensky said that they need to take these steps, as they are of decisive importance for the world, NBN reports.
According to the president, the Forces defense must be able to destroy military airfields from which fighter jets of the Russian occupation forces take off to strike Ukrainian cities. The Guarantor emphasized that all these air bases must be destroyed.
The head of state noted that such work by the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not only destroy some targets, but will also reduce the ability of the terrorist state to continue conducting military operations against Ukraine. He recalled that thanks to attacks on targets in the Russian Federation, the defenders did not allow the enemy to advance in the Kharkov region.
The leader of the Ukrainians added that the stronger our air defense is and the fewer restrictions the Ukrainian Armed Forces have on the use of Western weapons, the more helpless it will be Putin, and even more so Moscow, will try to move in the direction of peace.
Earlier, the president spoke about how security guarantees strengthen our country, speaking about its integration into NATO.
