Yesterday, July 19, at about 7:30 pm, on Masaryk Street in Lviv, an unknown person shot at Irina Farion, who, due to a severe head injury, despite the efforts of doctors, died after 11 pm – the victim did not heart withstood.

About the fact that law enforcement officers do not stop work to clarify the details of the murder of linguist Irina Farion, writes NBN, citing the explanation of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko, published in the official Facebook account of the Lviv Region Police.
According to Klimenko, a number of versions are now being worked on , one of which is based on non-acceptance of socio-political activities and personal hostility towards Farion. In addition, the possibility of a so-called “Russian trace” cannot be excluded.
At the moment, law enforcement agencies have collected some information regarding the commission of the crime and the alleged perpetrator, but so far the information is not subject to disclosure. However, it has already been possible to discover the cartridge case left after the shot at Irina Farion, but the results of the autopsy and forensic medical examination will reveal a larger amount of information.
Also, the police are inclined to believe that the person in the hat , who sat daily on a bench near the victim’s house, and the probable attacker—one person.
