Putin’s speaker, commenting on the EU's intention to transfer profits from frozen Russian assets to Ukraine, he accused the member states of the European Union of stealing money, NBN reports with reference to the RIA Novosti propaganda agency.
The dictator's press secretary complained that that “it’s hard to come up with something worse” than spending proceeds from the frozen assets of a terrorist state to purchase weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A representative of the Russian Administration stated that such actions of the European Union are a “direct violation of international law” and “ neglect of property rights,” emphasizing that Moscow will not leave them unanswered.
The official added that the Russian leadership intends to organize legal prosecution of people who make or carry out the decision to confiscate the assets of the aggressor country.
Recall that the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine told how the first tranche from income from Russian assets will be spent.
