The head of the Polish Foreign Ministry called on EU countries to lift the ban on the use Ukrainian troops of Western weapons to strike throughout the territory of the aggressor country, NBN reports with reference to RMF24.

At a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the EU countries, the diplomat criticized his colleagues for their fears regarding the “escalation of the conflict,” if the restriction on the use of weapons provided by Kyiv's allies for attacks deep into the Russian Federation is lifted.

Sikorsky is convinced that attacks on occupiers' targets on the territory of the aggressor country will be self-defense of Ukraine, which is not prohibited by international law. The minister clarified that the protection of children's cancer hospitals is not an escalation.

Also, the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry called on EU countries to strengthen anti-Russian sanctions and use the assets of a terrorist state by the end of the year to obtain a loan that will allow Ukraine to function and buy weapons.

Recall that the Latvian Foreign Minister explained why Ukraine should receive the right to use Western weapons without restrictions.
