The official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said at a briefing that at a meeting with the head of the foreign policy Department of Ukraine in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will call for a ceasefire and a peaceful resolution of the conflict, writes NBN with reference to Ukrinform.
According to the press secretary of the department, the Chinese leadership will not change its position on this issue. Beijing will also look for real steps to peacefully resolve the “crisis” in Ukraine using political methods.
At the same time, the diplomat did not remember that the troops of the Russian Federation violated the territorial integrity of a neighboring state, so Putin’s army must leave Ukrainian territory.
Since the beginning of a full-scale war, China has not declared the need for de-occupation of territories as a prerequisite for ending the war, proposing its “peace plans” for ending hostilities.
