Stefanchuk on his Facebook page commented on reports that the Verkhovna Rada had gone on vacation, which were circulated by the Ukrainian media. The speaker of parliament claims that this information is untrue, reports NBN.

The official recalled that since the beginning of a full-scale war, parliament has been working in a single meeting and during this time not a single people's representative has received annual paid leave, so as during martial law, the Rada cannot take any technical breaks in work.

The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada recalled that deputies are engaged in other activities besides working in the session hall. All people's representatives work in committees that prepare bills, in various commissions, and so on.

Stefanchuk added that parliamentarians are now focused on finalizing certain provisions of Law No. 8371 in order to put it to a vote in the parliament as soon as possible hall Consequently, the activities of people's deputies will be closely connected with the preparation of the relevant document.

The representative of the parliament emphasized that parliament will not go on any vacations until Ukraine wins the war.

We remind you that the Verkhovna Rada responded whether Ukrainians can avoid a fine if they update their military credentials after July 16.
