Budanov reveals details of new cyberattack on Russian banks

On Thursday, July 25, Ukrainian military intelligence specialists already “hacked” a number of Russian Internet resources, payment systems and financial institutions, and today the next stage of this operation has begun.

As reported by “NBN” with a link According to LIGA.net, the next cyber attack carried out by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense disabled the usual functionality of the aggressor country's financial institutions, as a result of which Russians will not be able to withdraw cash from ATMs.

According to an unspecified source, from today, users of 9 Russian banks will not be able to receive rubles, since when trying to use an ATM, both debit and credit cards are instantly blocked.

In particular, VTB Bank, Alfa Bank, SberBank, Raiffeisen Bank, RSHB Bank, Rosbank, Gazprombank, “T-Bank”, “iBank” and the identical financial institution “Dom.rf”.

In addition to all of the above, the intelligence agents were able to gain access to the databases of these Russian banks.
