The head of the Kremlin recently stated that if the United States deploys Tomahawk cruise missiles in Germany, Moscow “will be forced” to lift the “unilateral moratorium” on the deployment of short- and medium-range strike weapons in Europe.
The Russian leader explained this by saying that if the weapons are deployed, important facilities of the terrorist state will be located in the territory of Germany in the zone of its destruction, NBN reports.
As ntv writes, the German Foreign Ministry responded to Putin's statements. A representative of the Foreign Ministry said that the dictator will not be able to intimidate Berlin with such statements.
According to him, the aggressor country has been replenishing its weapons stockpiles for many years and waging an aggressive war against the Ukrainians, so the German authorities must respond to this.
