As reported by “NBN” with reference to the material of “Champion”, today, July 29, the world champion according to the WBA/WBO/WBC versions (refused from the IBO) in the heavyweight division Oleksandr Usyk will arrive in the capital of France with the intention of morally and financially supporting the Ukrainian team at the Olympic Games.
According to the laconic but interesting information from the source, our world champion met with his fellow boxers on the eve of the 2024 Olympic Games, and handed them envelopes with advance payments.
In addition, Usyk promised to pay them huge prize money for any medal “knocked out” at the competitions in Paris.
In particular, the absolute gold medal was valued at $80,000 (about UAH 3.280 million), the silver medal at $70,000 (about UAH 2.872 million), and the bronze medal at $50,000 (about UAH 2.051 million).
