Not long ago, the NBU reported that the inflation rate will remain moderate until the end of the year, at 8.5 percent, while the actual rise in prices for goods and services in the country exceeds this figure.

As reported by NBN with reference to the official page of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, prices for some of the most popular types of products, so-called daily consumption, increased in the range from 10 to almost 13 percent.
In particular, the largest increase in selling prices was recorded among sugar producers (10.4 percent) and butter (12.7 percent), however, the list of anti-record holders also included (within 5-9 percent):
- cooked sausages/sausages and sausages;
- semi-smoked sausages;
- vegetable and fruit juices;
- hard cheeses;
- wheat flour;
- buckwheat groats;
- bakery products;
- gingerbread and other sweet pastries;
- pasta and a number of identical goods.
