The ISW analytical material notes that after the destruction of the Wagner mercenaries in Mali, the Kremlin will have to replace them with other militants. Several Russian military bloggers believe that due to the losses of the PMC mercenaries, the Russian leadership will send fighters of the African Corps of the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country to the mainland, NBN reports.

American experts believe that the African Corps will not be able to properly replace the Wagner PMC, since part of its forces were recently sent to Ukraine to participate in military operations in the north of the Kharkiv region.

Analysts suggest that after the destruction of the Wagner mercenaries by Tuareg rebels, the military leadership of the terrorist state will probably redeploy some fighters of the African Corps to Mali. At the same time, it is unlikely that the Russian Defense Ministry considers the complete replacement of PMC mercenaries as a priority task.

Recall that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense revealed how the rebels in Mali carried out an effective operation against the militants of the Wagner PMC.
