In an interview with representatives of the French media, the Ukrainian leader said that according to the new law, some rules for conscription into the army have changed. Zelensky, citing the military leadership, said that thanks to this, mobilization has increased, NBN reports.
According to the president, recruits are not immediately thrown onto the battlefield, as the Russian command does, they undergo training in training centers for at least two months. Some of the fighters, depending on the direction, train longer. The guarantor hopes that the brigades that are short of personnel will be replenished in the near future.
The head of state noted that the Russian Federation is also increasing the number of occupiers at the front. However, fighting with numbers against Putin's army is a difficult challenge, so Ukraine needs to do everything to save the lives of the defenders. Zelensky added that in the last three to four weeks, the Russian Armed Forces have been losing an average of 1,000 invaders wounded and killed per day.
Recall that the former NATO commander predicted how much longer the aggressor country will be able to withstand the huge losses of Putin's army.
