As NBN reports, citing a statement by US President Joseph Biden published by Reuters, the elimination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh will not contribute to the intensification of the negotiation process on a ceasefire in the Middle East.

In particular, answering a question from journalists regarding the likely irreversibility of the start of negotiations between Israel and Iran on a complete ceasefire after the elimination of Haniyeh, Biden clarified that the chances of concluding such an agreement are quite small, since, – “it will not help.”

In addition, the head of the White House added that on Thursday, July 1, he entered into negotiations with the head of the Israeli government, Benjamin Netanyahu, but Jerusalem did not take responsibility for the murder of Haniyeh, but assured that it would continue to deal crushing blows to the “puppets of Iran”, including both Hamas and Lebanese Hezbollah.

Earlier, we wrote about how Blinken spoke about US involvement in the destruction of Haniyeh.
