Fesenko, in a commentary to the publication “RBK-Ukraine”, commented on the prisoner exchange between Russia, the Republic of Belarus on one side and the United States and Germany on the other, which took place with the mediation of Ankara, NBN reports.

According to the expert, the head of state Recep Erdogan has once again proven himself to be an effective mediator in negotiations with a terrorist state, so his chances of becoming a mediator in future negotiations between Kiev and Moscow are growing.

The political scientist called Turkey a unique state, since it has partnership relations with both Ukraine and the Russian Federation, which are in a state of war.

This is what gives Ankara an advantage in the matter of mediation, since it is more neutral than, for example, Beijing. Fesenko believes that China is a “second” of the aggressor country, and not a mediator.

Recall that in an interview with representatives of the French media, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Chinese authorities can force the Russian Federation to end the war against our country.
