As NBN reports with reference to a video posted on the YouTube channel Fight Hub TV, IBF lightweight title holder Vasyl Lomachenko will not enter the ring in 2024, but he has not “put an end to” his career.
According to 36-year-old boxer Lomachenko, the next fight, with a still unknown opponent, judging by everything, may take place next year, 2025. The reason for such a “pause” is quite trivial – the champion simply plans to have a comfortable rest, and to do all the “boxing business” from the New Year.
It should be recalled that according to information available to the head of the Top Rank promotion agency, Bob Arum, Lomachenko refused the next fight with Gervonta Davis, since it is connected with the unresolved number of difficulties “with Ukraine and his family.”
