Pletenchuk told how many operational airfields the Russian Federation has left in Crimea after Ukraine's strikes

The day before, on August 3, in the seaport of Sevastopol, the Russian Black Sea Fleet submarine Rostov-on-Don was sunk by a strike by the Defense Forces, and four S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile systems were damaged in the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula, which, apparently, increased panic in Putin's army.

As NBN reports with reference to the explanation of the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmitry Pletenchuk, published in RBC-Ukraine, only a few military air bases are currently operating on the territory of Crimea temporarily captured by the Russians.

According to Pletenchuk, the Russian occupation army has retained aircraft at only 3 of the 5 airfields that have not yet been destroyed, but is seeking to transfer aircraft further away to the mainland: There are no longer any fighters, helicopters or bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces deployed at the 2 air bases.

A representative of the Ukrainian Navy emphasized:

This is a fact. These aircraft could be redeployed to the mainland, but in order to provide them with fuel and other necessities, [the occupiers] need to have the appropriate logistics.

Earlier we wrote about the SBU reporting on the results of Ukrainian drone strikes on targets in the Belgorod and Rostov regions.
