In an interview with the publication “RBK-Ukraine”, the MP stated that “Edinye Novosti” does not justify the funds allocated for it. Poturaev also spoke about the distortion of political neutrality in the telethon, noting that he does not support this, “NBN” reports.

According to the “servant of the people”, private media are currently running the telethon, which no one has ever been able to reproach for strictly adhering to the corresponding principle. Therefore, the “distortions” in “Edinye Novosti” are causing comments from Kyiv's foreign allies.

The MP believes that the telethon provides Ukrainians with quality information without broadcasting fakes. At the same time, there are still legitimate questions about “Unified News”, so we need to look for some solutions before talking about continuing to allocate funds for this project.

Note that in the interview, Poturaev also explained why the Telegram messenger needs to be shut down in the country.
