UK intelligence has said the Kremlin is targeting migrants in the aggressor country to fill Putin's occupation army. The State Duma of the Russian Federation supports the relevant actions by amending the legislation.

British intelligence commented on the approval of the bill by the State Duma of the Russian Federation on July 31, which provides for the deprivation of citizenship of naturalized citizens in the event of their failure to appear for military service. The document was co-authored by the Speaker of the Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
This was reported by NBN with reference to the UK Ministry of Defence page on the social network X.
At the same time, as noted by the department, independent Russian media outlets report on the persecution of migrants by law enforcement agencies, in particular with the aim of recruiting them to join Putin's occupation forces to participate in the war against Ukraine. The new law will provide security forces with another form of legal coercion to military service in the ranks of the invaders.
