Local Telegram channels reported that explosions thundered in several areas of the Kursk region at night, in particular in Sudzha. At first, the authorities warned of a missile threat, later of a UAV attack, NBN reports.
Residents of the city reported missiles flying in, the head of the region said that 14 drones were shot down in the region. At the same time, a photo of a fire in Sudzha began to spread on the Internet.

In the morning, Smirnov reported on the aftermath of the attack, stating that the air defense had allegedly shot down 26 UAVs in the Kursk region. According to Putin's official, five people, including three children, were injured in the attack in Sudzha, and several residential buildings were also heavily damaged.
The regional governor also showed photographs of the aftermath of the shelling of the city.
