Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine at a closed meeting with graduates of the Kyiv school economy stated that in the event of a protracted war, Russia will face a dilemma next summer. Moscow will have to choose: either “stop all this” or declare a large-scale mobilization.
NBN reports this with reference to Forbes.
According to the general, the occupiers began having problems with human resources about 3 months ago. At the same time, in the aggressor country, things are not so simple with the recruitment of fighters for Putin's army.
The military leader noted that at the beginning of the full-scale invasion in Russia there were no problems with mobilization, but later the flow of volunteers began to decrease catastrophically. Now the Kremlin is offering potential occupiers large sums of money for signing a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Budanov added that in recent months, the troops of the aggressor country have for the first time faced a personnel shortage, which amounted to 10%. Therefore, in a year Moscow will have to decide whether to declare a large-scale mobilization or end the so-called “SVO”.
The chief intelligence officer of Ukraine also predicted when the offensive of the occupiers will end.
