ISW reveals details of “disposal” of Russian Armed Forces equipment column in Kursk region

The day before, on August 9, the Ukrainian military destroyed a column of military equipment of the “second army of the world” in the vicinity of the village of Oktyabrskoye in the Kursk region, and as a result of this operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, at least several “liberators” were killed.

As NBN reports with a link to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the specified column of Russian military equipment was “covered” by fire from the Ukrainian Defense Forces east of the city of Rylsk near the village of Oktyabrskoye Kursk region.

In particular, geolocation footage confirms the success of the Ukrainian strike and the “demilitarization” of Russian trucks trying to travel along route 38K-017: the convoy consisted of 14 covered Urals and KAMAZ vehicles, transporting reserve units to reinforce the Russian Armed Forces stationed in the Kursk region.

ISW analysts emphasized that as a result of the attack, apparently, several Russian military personnel who were part of the personnel of the 44th Army Corps were killed Northern group of Russian troops (Leningrad Military District) or the Pyatnashka brigade.
