As reported by “NBN”, citing “Voice of America”, according to the head of the US Treasury Department Janet Yellen, the allocation of budgetary assistance to Ukraine from the United States is directly linked to reforms that should contribute to “further increasing the resilience of the Ukrainian economy.”

According to Yellen, direct budget support for Ukraine from the United States still depends on the results of reforms, the purpose of which is to strengthen the resilience of the Ukrainian economy while simultaneously improving governance, which is now noticeable thanks to the “unprecedented level of transparency and accountability” associated with such financing.

The head of the Ministry of Finance emphasized that the funds provided by the United States, allied countries and partners are crucial for equipping emergency response services, maintaining medical institutions and schools open, and also guarantee the stability of the work of “other important state functions.”
