Russian authorities complain about a shot down “Ukrainian” missile hitting a residential building in Kursk (VIDEO)

On the night of this Sunday, August 11, a series of explosions thundered in the Russian city of Kursk – local authorities assured of the “effective” work of air defense forces and means, but something went wrong, and a fire broke out in a residential high-rise building.

As NBN reports with reference to information posted in the Telegram channels of the acting Kursk Region Governor Alexei Smirnov and videos published in ASTRA initially only warned residents of the region about the missile threat, relying on the air defense of the “second army in the world.”

According to Smirnov, the allegedly shot down “Ukrainian” missile fell on a residential building in Kursk, damaging the facade of the building and causing a fire, including in the adjacent territory.

Local emergency services that arrived at the scene of the incident managed to save 15 people and evacuate another 30. At the same time, the rescuers of the Russian Emergencies Ministry did not have to carry out prompt restoration work, since the supporting structures of the multi-story building were not damaged.
