As reported by “NBN” with a link on the official Facebook profile of the command of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, our soldiers managed to cross the border very quickly, and despite the chaotic intentions of Putin's army to encircle the Defense Forces, the Russians were unable to implement such plans in reality.

According to one of the paratroopers, the Defense Forces “drove in normally”, and since the enemy border guards did not expect such actions, they were all “taken apart” right at the checkpoint, along with the transformer, thus depriving Putin's troops of communications. However, in some places in the Kursk region, the Russian army sometimes put up powerful resistance, but, in the end, even forests and corn fields did not save the Russians from the attacks of Ukrainian drones.

Also, the mechanic and driver of the Stryker armored personnel carrier, Alexander, recalled the negative aspects:

We heard that helicopters started looking for us. It seems to me that they were flying in such a way that they did not see us. But we also behaved quietly. Because if we gave ourselves away, they would have caught us all. They were flying above us. It was pretty scary.

Earlier we wrote about the ISW reporting how much manpower the Russian Federation transferred from Ukraine to defend Kursk region.
