The media found out why the EU refused to help Ukraine in returning military-liable men

A number of Polish and German politicians have stated that there is a high probability of deporting Ukrainian men home to protect Ukraine, but in fact, a slightly different decision was made at the highest level.

As reported by “NBN” with reference to a Bloomberg article, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky called on partner governments to facilitate the return of Ukrainian men of draft age from abroad to Ukraine, but was refused.

In particular, Zelensky tried to convince allied countries to more actively help return more men of draft age (18-60 years old) to Ukraine, within the framework of recent bilateral meetings.

However, government officials, from Poland to Hungary, have openly declared that they do not intend to send refugees back until the war in Ukraine ends.

An additional factor in this refusal was and the fact that in some EU countries there is a shortage of labor, which can be covered by Ukrainians, then there is another reason—of a completely economic, and not humanitarian nature.

Earlier we wrote about the fact that a lawyer explained how military personnel can avoid paying fines from TCK/SP.
