As reported by “NBN” with a link on the official Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of this Wednesday, August 21, units of the Navy, interacting with other formations of the Defense Forces, carried out an attack on the deployment site of the enemy's S-300 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) near Novoshakhtinsk in the Rostov region.
In accordance with the results of objective monitoring of the strike results, a series of explosions were recorded at the designated aiming points, however, the accuracy of the destruction of the enemy target will be known somewhat later, since the relevant information is being “reconnoitered”.
A number of video testimonies from Novoshakhtinsk appeared in Russian media, where the debris of the allegedly “shot down missile” fell, and eyewitnesses “heard a whistle, then a loud bang”:
