Budanov clarified the number of aircraft destroyed by Ukraine at the Savasleyka airbase in Russia

Previously it was assumed that the strike by Ukrainian special services on the Savasleyka airfield destroyed a MiG-31, several air transport aircraft and hit at least five fighter-bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

As reported by NBN with a link to the material from The Warzone, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, spoke about the results of the Ukrainian drone attack on the Savasleyka airfield of the Russian-invading forces (Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation), carried out about a week ago, on August 16.

According to Budanov, the above-described strike by Ukrainian kamikaze drones on the territory of the Savasleyka airfield in the Nizhny Novgorod region destroyed at least one MiG-31 interceptor fighter (according to the classification of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization) Alliance—Foxhound), which is the carrier of the Kinzhal hypersonic aeroballistic missiles, as well as two Il-76 transport aircraft (according to the North Atlantic Alliance classification—Candid).
