The State Bureau of Investigation reported the number of criminal cases opened due to abuses by TCC employees

Recently, information was heard from the ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets that in most cases of citizens' appeals it was established that no violations of the rights of military-liable Ukrainians were found in the questionable actions of the TCC/SP workers.

As reported by NBN with a link to the official page of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), since the invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, and, accordingly, the intensification of mobilization measures, more than 400 criminal proceedings related to illegal actions in TCK/SP.

In particular, starting from February 24, 2022, the above-described structure has investigated 408 criminal cases regarding improper work of TCC/SP employees: suspicion was issued to 73 individuals, 37 charges were sent to court regarding 61 people (only 10 defendants were convicted).

In addition, the amounts of illegal benefits received as a result of TCC fraud confirmed by the court so far amount to UAH 114 million, while the “military commissars” caused damages of UAH 19 million (no more than UAH 6.5 million was reimbursed, and assets were arrested—for UAH 264 million).
