The combined shelling that took place last night involved the use of a diverse arsenal, which resulted in record costs. According to estimates, the strike cost Russia between 1.2 and 1.3 billion US dollars.
The attack used the latest weapons, including the Kinzhal, Iskander, X-101 missiles and Shahed attack drones. These types of weapons aimed at destroying critical infrastructure indicate that Moscow continues to invest significant resources in waging the war despite the increasing financial burden.
In December 2023, Russia already carried out a similar attack on Ukraine, but then the cost was about 700-750 million dollars. The current shelling has surpassed all previous ones in its cost, demonstrating the Kremlin's readiness for further escalation, regardless of the economic consequences.
