As reported by NBN with reference to the Russian Telegram channel ASTRA, today, August 28, a large fire broke out within the perimeter of the Ryazan State District Power Plant (state district power plant) – eyewitnesses assured that a “bang” was clearly heard before the fire itself.
It is assumed that the video of this fire could have been filmed the day before, when dried vegetation was burning nearby, which is somewhat inconsistent with the information from law enforcement agencies, who stated that the reason for the thick clouds of smoke over the state district power plant was some kind of violation in the technological process, and the power plant itself “operates in normal mode.”
It should be noted that the above-described GRES is located in the city of Novomichurinsk, Pronsky District, Ryazan Region, and is the sixth most powerful thermal power plant in the aggressor country, so the Russians' concerns are entirely justified.
