The Kremlin has repeatedly stated that it is fighting against the “collective West” and NATO, and therefore Russian tanks are unlikely to cross the EU borders.

As reported by NBN, citing material from European Pravda, in the opinion of the head of the Czech Foreign Ministry, Jan Lipavsky, the Russian Federation is waging a war against the entire West, and not just against Ukraine, and if Putin is allowed to win, this will create a “fundamentally dangerous and shaky Europe.”
According to Lipavsky, it is very naive to assume that if Russia wins in Ukraine, Putin's troops will stop at the western borders. In particular, Moscow has a rather distorted view of the sovereignty and integrity of neighboring states and the freedom of their citizens, potentially intending to bring all of this to a single “Russian vision.”
The Czech Foreign Minister added that an aggressor country only understands firmness and strength, and it is precisely this kind of toolkit that should be used, since “Russian aggression has no limits unless we establish them ourselves,” but this requires “the courage to act.”
