As reported by NBN with reference to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the command of Putin's army has moved some of its forces from less priority areas, and in addition to the Donetsk region, this concerns the north of the Kharkiv region (the Kupyansk-Svatovo-Kremennaya line) and the western part of the Zaporizhia region, thus seeking to strengthen the defense in the Kursk direction.

However, despite the above-described actions of the Russian Federation, the Defense Forces continued to advance in the Kursk region, attacking the areas:
