In his speech at the Naval Academy of the National Defense University in Istanbul, Erdogan emphasized that Turkey will continue to develop ties with both the East and the West, refusing to be pressured to make a clear choice between these organizations.
Erdogan noted that strategic strengthening of relations with both sides contributes to the comprehensive development of Turkey. According to him, the country has the necessary capabilities and the right to interact with the EU and the SCO simultaneously, which corresponds to its national interests and strategic goals.
The President also emphasized that a balanced foreign policy and deep cooperation with both organizations play a key role in strengthening Turkey's position in the international arena.
