As reported by NBN, citing information published on the official Facebook profile of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the number of people killed as a result of the terrorist state’s attack on the above-described educational institution in Poltava has increased to 54 people.

In addition, the law enforcement agency's communications department added that the number of injured civilians has increased to 297 people. Also, since search and rescue operations are still ongoing, taking into account the entire spectrum of safety components, at least 5 more people may be pulled out from under the rubble.

Law enforcement officials added that rescue specialists had to dismantle and remove 1,760 tons of construction waste from the “landing” sites, and this somewhat complicates the rescue operation.
