Foreign media reported that the Defense Forces, during the offensive in the Kursk region, were able to capture about 2,000 “good Russians,” but such information is not true.

As reported by NBN with reference to the YouTube channel “Ze!President”, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that in the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces captured hundreds, not thousands, of Russian servicemen.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine has collected a sufficient “exchange fund” by capturing “important” military personnel, and none of the Defense Forces fighters in Kursk touched the ordinary population, since the defenders are not looters or murderers, “like the Russians who came to us and killed civilians, took them prisoner, and tortured them.”

In particular, the Ukrainian leader cited figures: more than 600 Russian military personnel were taken prisoner, and this “exchange fund” includes officers and Chechens (“Kadyrovites”), that is, the composition is completely different.

Zelensky summarized:

We will exchange all of them for our guys.

Earlier, our information portal wrote about how Zelensky spoke about yesterday's personnel “reboot” of the Cabinet of Ministers.
