The British publication The Times writes that recently Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky called on Washington and London to overcome their fear and show determination on the issue of long-range strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces against Russia, reports “NBN”.

It also became known recently that five former heads of the Ministry of Defense and former heads of government of the United Kingdom called on British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to allow Ukrainian troops to strike deep into Russian territory with Storm Shadow cruise missiles. They said that the delay in this matter encourages the leader of the Russians, Vladimir Putin.

Journalists reported that London will not act without Washington's consent, since US guidance systems are considered decisive for hitting the target of British long-range missiles.

At the same time, the leadership of the United Kingdom believes that the United States will nevertheless give the “green light” for strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces deep into the Russian Federation at the UN General Assembly in New York. However, there are still disagreements in the White House regarding lifting the ban.

Earlier, the British publication The Guardian reported that Washington and London allegedly lifted restrictions on Ukraine using their weapons to strike deep into Russia. However, the countries are not yet ready to announce this publicly.
