The Investigative Committee of Armenia reported that the Security Service identified 7 people, 3 of whom were arrested. The department reported that the detainees recruited several citizens of Armenia and residents of Nagorno-Karabakh, promising to pay them $2,400 monthly, NBN reports.

The defendants sent the recruits to Rostov-on-Don, where they received training in the use of new types of heavy weapons. The group members were then trained to conduct combat operations in closed spaces at the Arbat military base. They were informed that the purpose of the relevant preparations was to eliminate the current leadership of Armenia.

On the same day, during the World Armenian Summit, the Prime Minister sharply criticized the Collective Security Treaty Organization, which is de facto controlled by the Russian Federation.

According to Pashinyan, Yerevan froze its membership in the CSTO at all levels not only because the association of states does not fulfill its obligations, but also because of the creation of threats to the security of his country.

Recall that in June, the head of the Armenian government announced the country's intention to withdraw from the CSTO. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on the statements from Yerevan.
