On Thursday, September 19, Russian invaders launched an air strike on a geriatric boarding house in Sumy, killing one person and injuring others. The head of the regional military administration, Volodymyr Artyukh, spoke about the rescue of the institution's patients.

The head of the Sumy regional military administration spoke on the air of the national telethon about the rescue of patients of the regional geriatric boarding house, which was hit by an airstrike by the troops of the aggressor country on September 19, NBN reports.

According to the official, people were evacuated to safe places, some patients were placed in specially prepared institutions in Sumy region. This process is ongoing to accommodate everyone who was cared for in the geriatric boarding house.

Artyukh noted that those wounded as a result of the Russian air attack are receiving medical care. The victims are in Sumy hospitals, so far there is no threat to their lives.

It should be noted that 221 elderly people lived in the geriatric boarding house in Sumy. As a result of the KAB strike on the building, a 70-year-old woman died, 13 people were injured. 147 people were evacuated from the institution.

Recall that on the night of September 19, Putin's army attacked Kharkov with air bombs. The city council reported on the scale of the destruction as a result of the strike on the regional center.
