As NBN reports with reference to the laconic material of RBC-Ukraine, yesterday, September 20, President Volodymyr Zelensky met with representatives of the media, speaking about the “fake news” of the above-mentioned publication.
According to Zelensky, the figures voiced by The Wall Street Journal regarding the losses of the Ukrainian army in the war against Putin's troops are significantly overstated.
In particular, the Ukrainian leader is confident that the figure of 80,000 is an absolute lie, since the real figure is much less than that published by The Wall Street Journal, “significantly”.
It should be noted that the secretary of the parliamentary committee on national security and defense, Roman Kostenko, claimed that this publication significantly overstated the statistics of Ukraine's losses on the front lines, and, in accordance with official information, the Defense Forces lost 19,000 people killed, wounded and missing.
