At a meeting with media representatives, the Ukrainian leader said that Kyiv is asking its allies for long-range weapons, since the Russian Armed Forces are using KAB attacks for an offensive. As a result, the defenders are forced to retreat from their positions, which the enemy finishes off with artillery and then captures.

According to the guarantor, it is now too late to talk about the use of ATACMS missiles by the Defense Forces, since the Russians are relocating their aircraft to other airfields, and they have moved some weapons more than 300 kilometers away.
The president explained that in order to strike these targets, the Ukrainian army needs long-range weapons. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have them, but not in the quantities they need. At the same time, the defenders cannot use them to attack the Russian Federation, since the allies have not lifted the corresponding ban due to fear of escalation.
Recall that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz once again stated that Berlin will not supply Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine.
