As NBN reports, citing TheVerge material, WindowsApp is a hub for streaming copies of Windows OS from a variety of sources, from Windows365 or Azure virtual desktop to a remote identical DESKTOP and the like.

In particular, the unified application described above includes a customizable main screen that supports multiple monitors and USB redirection so that users can use local devices such as webcams, storage devices, printers, or similar peripherals as if the “gadgets” were already directly connected to the PC “in the cloud.”

However, WindowsApp is currently limited to Microsoft work/school accounts, since it is mainly created for the “client” of the remote desktop of Windows and other OS, as an alternative to Remote Desktop Connection, which is a component of Windows 11.

WindowsApp can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store and Apple App Store (for macOS, iOS, and iPadOS).

Earlier, we wrote that Apple would introduce several new devices before the end of this year.
