Starmer's press secretary said that the British government has not changed its position on the use of Storm Shadow cruise missiles by the Ukrainian Armed Forces for attacks deep into the territory of the aggressor country, NBN reports, citing The Guardian.

According to her, London's current discussions on Ukraine do not concern one specific type of weapon. The British authorities are holding broad discussions on strategy and support for the country over the next few months, as well as for the winter.

The official added that at the UN General Assembly in New York, the UK leadership will focus on the issue of providing ongoing support to Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression.

Earlier, during a conversation with media representatives, President Volodymyr Zelensky explained why Ukraine urgently needs to obtain long-range weapons and permission to strike deep into the territory of a terrorist state. The guarantor said that it is too late to talk about the possibility of the defenders using ATACMS ballistic missiles.
