The head of the Central Intelligence Agency called the strikes on the arsenal of the “second army of the world” near Toropets a very important success. According to him, the attacks on the occupiers' BC warehouses destroyed the stock of shells for 2-4 months of military operations, NBN reports.
Kovalenko explained that the purpose of creating strategic arsenals is to accumulate resources for a protracted war. Their elimination does not mean that military operations will now cease, but such strikes deprive the enemy's logistics of the opportunity to extend it, and in some places will reduce the intensity of the use of weapons.
Earlier, the expert noted that attacks on such objects of Putin's army are a new stage of the war, since previously, mainly tactical-level BC warehouses were hit, and these strikes directly affected military operations on the front line. However, the “bavovna” on the strategic reserves of the RF Armed Forces will have deeper consequences and a cumulative effect.
Recall that on September 18, a strike was carried out on the 107th arsenal of the GRAU of the RF Ministry of Defense near Toropets in the Tver Region. A few days later, on September 21, an attack was carried out on the 23rd arsenal, which is also located near this city.
