Russian opposition political analyst Ivan Preobrazhensky has revealed how many citizens of the aggressor country actually support the war of conquest against Ukraine.

Preobrazhensky, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, said that the active core of support for the invasion of Ukraine is only about 15-17% of the population of the terrorist state, NBN reports.
According to the expert, the majority of citizens of the Russian Federation do not have any relation to the so-called “special operation” – about 70% of the inert population. The analyst explained that for those from outside, these people support the war against Ukraine, since they do not condemn it.
However, at the level of these Russians, as the political scientist claims, they often make a choice in favor of petty evil, so as not to be under threat, since they understand what is happening. For example, this is a conditional teacher who will begin to conduct “Conversations about the Important” for young citizens of the aggressor country.
At the same time, about 15% of the population of the Russian Federation categorically opposes the war, some of these people have left Russia. This group has either narrowed or grown. However, recently it has expanded due to relatives of mobilized personnel, deceased occupiers and those citizens who see coffins coming from the so-called “NVO zone”.
Earlier, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, explained why Russians continue to fight against our country, despite being tired of it.
