A representative of Zelensky's Office drew attention to the fact that some of Kyiv's partners say that the war in Ukraine may have a long one. The official does not understand why they are making such statements, NBN reports with reference to RBC-Ukraine.

According to the adviser to the head of the OPU, the Russian Federation, just like our country, is in a resource deficit and therefore relies on the capabilities of its allies – Iran and the DPRK. Therefore, talk about a protracted war with Russia, whose economy is in a difficult situation, is not advisable.

At the same time, Kyiv's partners need to make important decisions on three key issues to end the war – Ukraine in NATO, the use of frozen Russian assets, and long-range strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the territory of the aggressor country.

Podolyak noted that in this case, there will be no need to talk about a “decade” of war, “2026”, that “we need to cede territory”, etc. The official added that if Russia receives the captured territories, this will not stop its plans for conquest of other countries.

The adviser to the head of the OPU also answered how to prevent strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on nuclear power plants in Ukraine.
