Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban regularly points to the need for a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Kremlin tyrant Vladimir Putin, which would supposedly help end the war.

As NBN reports with reference to Bloomberg's material, Senior aide to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Balazs Orban, believes that Ukraine's decision to resist Russia's invasion is “irresponsible.”

According to this version of Orban, Hungary, in an identical situation, would refuse to take up arms. In addition, the Hungarian leader's adviser claims that Zelensky was advised to abandon armed resistance in 2022 in order to reduce the number of victims of full-scale Russian aggression, but the Ukrainian president acted “irresponsibly.”

Balázs Orbán added:

He [Zelensky] entered into a defensive war with his country, and we see how many people died and how much territory was lost.

It should be noted that local opposition leader Péter Magyar called on Balázs Orbán to resign, since the above comments simply trample on the constitutional foundations and independence of Hungary.

Earlier we wrote about the fact that a social survey showed what percentage of the Hungarian population is against Ukraine's membership in the European Union.
