Expert explains what allowed Putin's army to approach Ugledar

According to recent data released by British intelligence, the “second army in the world” is threatening Ugledar from three flanks, meaning it has effectively found itself on the outskirts of the city.

As reported by NBN with reference to the YouTube channel Radio NV, military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Alexander Kovalenko revealed why Russian occupation forces were able to approach Ugledar (Donetsk region).

According to Kovalenko, since January of last year, the “liberators” began to gradually advance through Novomikhaylovka and Konstantinovka, in fact, “step by step,” which took quite a long time. However, no defensive line (fortifications in Ugledar were strengthened over several years), no matter how powerful and well-planned it was, was able to withstand daily strikes by guided/guided aerial bombs (KABs).

The expert emphasized that in the Ugledar direction, enemy artillery weapons operate “non-stop” with the simultaneous dropping of KABs, that is, “constantly, endlessly.” In particular, no bridgehead will withstand the pressure of a 3-ton aerial bomb.

Thus, Putin's army managed to approach Vuhledar due to the lack of effective counteraction to Russian tactical aviation from the Ukrainian Defense Forces (due to the lack of a stable supply of Western weapons, first of all):

The aviation issue has become more dominant than the issue of Russian artillery.

Earlier we wrote about the fact that the former deputy head of the General Staff named the reason for the significant deterioration of the situation around Vuhledar.
